Mad Props!

Hey gang!

The new version, with new feeds from ComicList.com, is available now! There's a catch, though - you can't upgrade by using the Help|About dialog like before (because I stuffed something up).

So to upgrade you should uninstall and reinstall - more details in my blog post here.

This, of course, won't affect your collection file - it should be living safely in your "My Documents" folder or something. However, it will lose any setting you had regarding thumbnail size and window positions. Hopefully everyone can live with that.

Post here if you have any problems! I think the new ComicList feeds are great - hope you do too.

Get this when I try to check the online material (issues, characters)

Do you mean the "Recent Issues" etc, John? Or do you mean trying to download or upload issues and characters from the online database?

When I click on Recent Issues, Recent Characters, Recent Creators.

Now, I didn't add in my media key yet, so I don't know if that matters or not.

That's really strange. All Comicster is doing in that "Online" section is pulling down a file from the web - just like a web browser.

See if this link opens up ok for you in Internet Explorer or FireFox, John. It should give you an XML file containing the data Comicster uses to show you the "Recent Issues" info.
