Everyone can partake in the new online database now! Start your updates - 1.0.4.0 is ready to rock!

Beta users - you should be automatically updated to the "real" 1.0.4.0 when you next check for updates. Do that ASAP so everyone's back on the main "branch".

For those who haven't been paying attention, this version completely overhauls the online database, giving it more comprehensive and accurate data, and making it faster to search, upload and download.

The online database is now much easier for me to manage, so if you find duplicates or data that needs adjusting, post in the new "Comicster Online" forum and I'll fix it up for you.

How updated is the database?  Is there stuff from 2 days ago in it? I'm not seeing the information in the recent issues area.

I'll fix this for the next version. Rest assured that the database is the same one we've been beta testing with.

Wow - as if the updates weren't coming fast enough, here's 1.0.4.1!!!

In this release I've fixed up the "Recent" items in the "Online" part of the tree so they point to our new database, as well as made some minor bug fixes.

For those interested, the URLs for the "Recent Updates" feeds are:

Right now those feeds don't include the username or timestamp. If you guys think that info is important I will look at adding it back in.

I'll have to fix that ugly blue status bar, too. I'm running Windows Media Center as my home machine, and it renders grey here. It was only when I installed Comicster on my laptop that I realised it's blue on normal XP machines. Damn it.
