    Happy New Year! Here's 1.0.4.7!!!

A little update for y'all to celebrate the closing of 2006.

I've added thumbnail support for trades, so now you can see your trades' covers in thumbnail form in the default skin. For skin creators: the <#thumbnail> custom tag is now supported in trade.txt. Also, the <#thumbnails> tag (which gives you a nice list of issue covers) is also now supported in trade.txt, so you can quickly see all the issues in a given trade.

Hope everyone has a fantastic 2007!!!

Oh - and one other small fix:

If you have an issue or trade which has a cover image assigned, but is showing the "No Cover Image" thumbnail, you can just edit it and hit OK on the "properties" dialog, and the thumbnail will be created. You don't need to click "Tools|Reload Thumbnails" any more.

This has been a bit of a bugbear for a while, and I finally fixed it because clicking "Tools|Reload Thumbnails" on a trade would, of course, go off and try to reload all the thumbnails for the trade's issues. So now if you need to generate a thumbnail for your trade, you can just click "Edit" and "OK". Smile

    Data section

    Character folder.

Left side does not show universe details for character in the tree. if you click on the folder for "character", the the universe info does show on the right side.

Right now I can't show Universe in the tree itself without breaking the 'rename' functionality. If the tree says "Spider-Man (Marvel 616)" and you hit F2 to rename him, and then hit Enter, it would change his name to "Spider-Man (Marvel 616)". That would be too confusing for new users, so I left the universe out of the tree entirely.

Where in the right-pane is the universe not showing? When you select an individual character? Or when you click on the "Characters" folder and get a list of 'em?

    Right pane it shows.

    Left it doesn't.

Your explanation clears it all up.

Yeah, it's one I struggled with. Remember back when the title's volume showed in the tree as well (ie. "Silver Surfer (vol 1)")? Same problem.

Eventually I'd like to override the drawing of the tree and draw the "extra" info (volume for title, universe for character) next to the real text of the tree node. Then when you hit F2 you would only be editing the bit that counts. I've tried that in the past but it always looks really ugly if you don't let Windows handle the painting of the tree.
