    Comicster installation folders...

Installed the newest update and noticed that my customizations to the default theme were missing. So I checked it out, and the comicster update or upgrade created an entirely new directory when it installed the new version of Comicster. There are copies of comicster residing in multiple locations now when I do a search. I copied over the skins and made the changes again to the default skin to get it the way I like it.

Also, in my start menu there are two comicster icons now showing up in my popularly used applications list. ???

Thanks for any info on what is going on.

Well that is odd. I've been updating Comicster myself across three machines (one XP and two Vista) and haven't seen that happen, although I always update mine from the Help|About dialog rather than by reinstalling.

Does it show up multiple times in your "Add or Remove Programs" (or "Programs and Features" as it's known in Vista)?

I update on the About dialog as well.

It does not show up multiple times in the Add/Remove Programs applet. I double checked using Revo, and it only finds one as well.

There is only one entry on the All Programs list as well.

Update: I just uninstalled Comicster and installed it again off of the website. This cleared up all of the redundant folders and files, and the start menu deal has been rectified.

When you publish the next update I'll see if this happens again.
